People supported throughout April to July 2020 during Covid/19 outbreak

7th August 2020

From April to July throughout the Covid/19 outbreak we have successfully continued to provide support to those most vulnerable and in need in out community, in food poverty, crisis, in self isolation or lock-down due to the pandemic and in need of an emergency food.

We have successfully managed to issue a total of 771 food parcels to those in need, helping 3273 adults, a 28% increase on last years figures and a total of 2631 children, a rise of 60% on last years figures.

We could not have done this without the support of you the community, our referral partners, Bradford Council and their team and of course our wonderful trustees and team of volunteers who throughout this most difficult of times have turned up week in week out at our foodbank centres and warehouse to ensure food orders get out  to our foodbank centres across the district and food parcels get delivered or collected by those needing them.  A huge thank you to you all.

Please continue to stay safe and well and support us in supporting those most in need in our community.

Thank You everybody from Bradford North Foodbank.
