Donate food

Support us by donating food and other essentials.

BankTheFood

The free BankTheFood app provides real-time updates of which items we need.

More people than ever are being driven to food banks and the sharp increase in people needing help is outstripping food donations.

Your donations are vital to ensure that we can continue to help the people in our community. Over 80% of the food we distribute is donated by people living in or close to our area of distribution of food parcels. Without your help we would struggle to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious food parcel.

Organise a food drive

A food drive is a brilliant way to bring together friends, family, colleagues, or your community group to support local people facing crisis. It raises awareness of our work and helps us collect the items we need most.

How we can support your food drive

  • Promotional Materials - we can provide posters, leaflets, and social media graphics to help you spread the word.
  • Priority Needs - contact us to find out which food and non‑food items we’re most in need of right now.
  • Talks & Information - we can speak to your group about our work or share information on how your donations support people in our local community.
  • Let Us Know About Your Drive - we’re here to help you plan and make your collection a success.
Delivering or Collecting donations
  • Delivery: Bring your donations to our warehouse during opening hours. If you need a different time, contact us and we’ll arrange something that works for you.
  • Collection: Get in touch and we’ll arrange for a volunteer to collect your donations.

Host a Permanent Collection Point

Hosting a permanent collection point is a simple, high‑impact way for your business, school, faith group, or community venue to support local people in crisis. By providing a visible, easy drop‑off spot, you help us collect the items we need most throughout the year.

We can support you with posters, signage, and digital materials, plus information about our current priority needs so your collection makes the biggest difference.

To set up a collection point, contact us and we’ll help you get everything in place.
