Volunteer
Our volunteers help us to provide food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on.
Volunteers make a difference in the local community across a range of roles, including boosting donations, packing food parcels, providing a warm welcome, tackling loneliness, signposting to additional services, connecting with partners, raising awareness and leading projects.
At Bradford North Foodbanks, even though we have over 100 volunteers there are still opportunities. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of local people in crisis.

Supermarket Collection Volunteer
Volunteering at a food bank helps those in crisis at the heart of the community, we rely on donations and the work of volunteers to keep us going through these hard times. The most helpful way you and your team can help support those in need, is to support us with a supermarket food drive.
You'll be raising awareness of our cause and encouraging the general public to donate key items. Volunteers will be friendly, honest and positive in their interactions with the local community.

Trustee Board
Trustees are responsible for overseeing the work of our foodbank, setting our overall vision and strategy and ensuring that our team are supported to carry it out. Trustees ensure that the charity, and its representatives, function within the legal and regulatory framework of the sector and in line with the organisation's governing document, continually striving for best practice in governance, and determining the overall direction and development of the charity through good governance and clear strategic planning. They do this in a way that adds to public confidence and trust in the charity and its reputation.
Currently, we do not have any trustee opportunities available, however, you are welcome to register your interest in becoming a trustee by emailing trustees@bradfordnorth.foodbank.org.uk
