Over a tonne of food donated at Asda

A small team of foodbank volunteers manned a busy food collection at Asda in Shipley on Saturday 17th June. It was very successful – a total of 1.48 tonnes of food was donated, as well as £110 in cash. Some of this money was spent on food in the supermarket, and all the donated items will be used feeding people in need across the Bradford North district.

Thank you to everyone who donated, as well as our volunteers giving up their time on a very hot day and to Asda for allowing us to be there.
